Baroque Tea Dance

  • Saturday 20 October, 2018 – 3.00 pm
  • Theatr Brycheiniog Studio
  • Tickets: £12

Period dance and delicious afternoon tea with Dancing Master Peter Brock and the BBF Tea Dance Ensemble.

The majority of the dances are uncomplicated and all are enjoyable. They are selected in keeping with the festival theme, and many of them, although classed as country dances, were enjoyed at royal balls. The country dances were informal and intended for pleasure rather than stylised performance - our Tea Dance is very definitely intended for pleasure!

Afternoon tea is served during the interval which also gives participants a chance to catch their breath and socialise. Come in period costume or smart casual clothes.

For those who live locally, Peter Brock will also be leading additional pre-Festival dance workshops during October. We will confirm venue exact dates and venue asap. There will be a small cost for each workshop to cover the hall hire. For more information and to register for these workshops please email info@breconbaroquefestival.com.
