Professor Robert Rawson, author of Bohemian Baroque: Czech Musical Culture and Style, 1600–1750, sets the cultural scene for this evening's concert.

A balletto, a battalia and a serenade crown a colourful programme that sees the strings and continuo of Brecon Baroque joined by trumpets and baritone soloist.
