Situated under the Brecon Beacons in the March borderland between Wales and England, the market town of Brecon is steeped in history.

Join local resident, Rowland Jepson, on a walk around town which explores Brecon’s Norman roots, its turbulent years before the Civil War, its Georgian prosperity and its long ecclesiastical and military influence in Wales. Brecon was once the second largest town in Wales and is still one of only a handful of towns in the UK to boast a Cathedral.
