Saturday, 19 October at 12pm

Join Huw Daniel and Kati Debretzeni (violins), Sam Stadlen (viola da gamba) and James Johnstone (harpsichord) for an afternoon of very special trio sonatas.

  • Buxtehude: Sonata a 3 in G, BuxWV 271

  • Biber (attributed to): Toccata/Sonatina for viola da gamba and continuo

  • Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre: Trio sonata in B-flat Major

  • Böhm: Prelude, Fugue and Postlude

The Plough Chapel lends itself to chamber music, an intimate venue with raked seating in the heart of town.  The first chapel on this site was a meeting room in a building also used as a pub called The Plough, which stood on this spot when JS Bach was born.

Duration: 60 minutes without an interval.

Tickets £14-£25

Please note: There is no dedicated parking at The Plough Chapel. There is a drop-off point outside and parking behind the chapel in the Public and/or Morrisons Car Parks.

Please also note that access upstairs is tricky. It’s best to sit downstairs if you have mobility issues.
