Brecon Beacons Music Trust privacy notice

Brecon Beacons Music Trust (BBMT, registered charity no. 1172155) is the managing body for Brecon Baroque Festival. BBMT recognises the importance of safeguarding the personal data of our supporters. We hold contact information as provided by those individuals who sign up to become Friends, Patrons and individual supporters of BBMT and Brecon Baroque Festival.

This includes names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers. We hold this information so that we can communicate with you as outlined in our supporters’ documents and let you know about Brecon Baroque Festival and related events and news.

Anyone supporting BBMT through a standing order will have given us banking details: these are passed on to your nominated bank and are not retained by us.

We don’t sell or pass personal data on to other organisations or companies. If other local Festivals want to communicate with BBMT supporters, they can only do so via BBMT, not directly.

We may store the email contact information you consent to us holding in a system owned by a third party, specifically Mailchimp. This enables us to send information to those who have signed up for newsletters and / or memberships. Mailchimp is a GDPR compliant organisation and has its own privacy policy and terms that can be seen at

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer Anne Morgan (also Chair of BBMT) at

This policy was reviewed and updated on August 26 2020 and will be updated as appropriate in line with legislation.
