Visit the area

Brecon is a delightful town situated in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is a wonderful place to come and stay, particularly with the beautiful colours of autumn all around you – even without a stunning musical festival!

South Wales, once you are there, feels far more remote than it actually is, as it has good road and rail links – and is not that far from England!

Its scenery, the pace of life, and the whole ethos of the Welsh rural and cultural heritage makes it all quite a unique experience for the first-time visitor – once you have tried it, you won't want to stay away for long. There are many places to stay in the area, from townhouses to farms and remote cottages to suit all tastes.

To find out more about our wonderful area, find accommodation and look for other things to do for you are here – look at the Brecon Beacons website.
