Rachel Podger and Brecon Baroque perform three of JS Bach’s popular Brandenburg Concertos (3, 4 & 5), a Telemann/Heinichen concerto for flute and vilolin and the Sinfonia to Cantata 182. Rachel is joined by recorder player, Lucie Horsch and harpsichordist, Marcin Świątkiewicz. A highlight of this year’s festival.

Telemann/Heinichen – Concerto for Flute and Violin in E minor, TWV 52:e3

JS Bach – Brandenburg Concerto no. 5 in D major BWV 1050

JS Bach – Brandenburg Concerto no. 4 in G major BWV 1049

There will be two sittings of the same FREE pre-concert talk in The Studio at 6.15pm and 6.45pm given by Dr Keith Chapin (Cardiff University, School of Music)
